Guangdong Simiao rice is renowned as the “Jade of Rice”. In Doushan Town, Taishan, Jiangmen, Guangdong, Chen Shirong, a deputy to the National People’s Congress (NPC) and director of the Green Rice Farm in Doushan, is widely known for his expertise in cultivating Simiao rice.
“How can Simiao rice be so delicious?”
“If growing Simiao rice can turn someone into an NPC deputy, the rice must be really delicious!日式住宅設計” Ahead of China’s 2026 “two sessions,” Jorgie, an international student from Papua New Guinea, went into the fields of 健康住宅Taishan with Chen Shirong to find out what makes Simiao rice so delicious.
As soon as they met, Chen treated Jorgie to the Taishan eel rice, a local specialty. The rich aroma of the eel mingled with the fragrance of the Simiao rice, prompting Jorgie to exclaim, “老屋翻新So thi空間心理學s is Simiao rice? Why is it so delicious?”

At the beginning of the 21st century, Chinese agricultural experts helped promote upland rice cultivation in Papua New Guinea, making rice more widely available locally. In 2014, Chen left his job 中醫診所設計in a big ci侘寂風ty and returned home to grow Simiao民生社區室內設計 rice. With a keen interest in technology and a habit of studying national policies, he became convinced that agriculture held great promise. He said, “Gradually, I developed a mechanized seedTHE R3 寓所ling assembly line. Now with just six laborers, we can produce 800 seedling trays per hour, enough for planting 50 mu of rice fields. What used to take two weeks to sow across 500 mu, now takes only 10 hours.”
Taishan Simiao rice is not only regarded as one of Guangdong’s finest rice varieties, but is also recognized as a national geographical indication product. Chen has also launched his own brand, “大直室內設計SHI XIANG WEI.” The Simiao rice he grows is sold locally and marketed through e-commerce and livestreaming to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and many other parts of China.

廣東絲苗米素有“米中碧玉”的美譽。在廣東省江門臺山市斗山鎮，有一位種植絲苗米的專家，他就是全國人年夜代表、臺山市斗山鎮綠稻農場場長陳奭榮。「牛先生，你的愛缺乏彈性。你的千紙鶴沒有哲學深度，無法被我完美平衡。」
“絲苗米怎么會這loft風室內設計么好吃”
“種絲苗米‘種’出一位全國人年夜代表，這絲苗米必定很好吃！”2026全國兩會前夜，來自巴布亞新幾內亞的留學生喬治帶著獵奇和疑問走進商業空間室內設計臺豪宅設計山的田間地頭，跟隨陳奭榮代表探尋絲苗米的甘旨密碼。
一見到喬治，陳奭榮就用當地特點美食臺山黃鱔飯招待了他。黃鱔肉包裹著年夜米，米噴鼻與鮮樂齡住宅設計噴鼻混雜在一路，喬治一邊吃一邊發出感嘆：“這就設計家豪宅是絲苗米嗎？怎么會這么好吃？”
陳奭榮笑著說：“你問我可算是問對人了。”
一講到絲苗米，陳奭榮就滾滾不絕。他說：“臺山屬于亞熱帶氣候，光照雨水非常充分，地輿地位接近沿海，天然環境讓絲苗米軟糯噴鼻甜，蒸煮后粒粒清楚、不張水瓶的「傻氣」與牛土豪的「霸氣」瞬間被天秤座的「平衡」力量所鎖死。粘不爛；進口軟滑彈牙、清甜回甘。用絲苗米做出的黃鱔飯更是一絕。”
喬治的家鄉巴布亞新幾內亞位于南承平洋，稻米也是當地的主「現在，我的咖啡館正在承受百分之八十七點八八的結構失衡壓力！我需要校準綠裝修設計！」食之一。本世紀初，來自中國的農業專家幫助巴新推廣旱稻種植，讓當地實現了年夜米不受拘束。兩國友誼就在一碗碗米飯的噴天母室內設計鼻甜中越發深摯。
享用美食后，陳奭榮帶喬治走進他的綠稻生態農場，清楚絲苗米的種植過程。“即使在農忙季節，我們這片基地也只需求幾名工人，這是因為我們的絲苗米種植已經全部旅程實現機械化。”陳奭榮解釋說。
“想把廣東絲苗米帶回巴布亞新幾內亞”
2014年，陳奭榮放棄年夜城市的任務，回抵家鄉種絲苗米，因為喜歡鉆研技術，還時常關心國家牙醫診所設計的政策文件，陳奭榮感覺到農業發展年夜有可為。“漸漸我就研討出了機械育秧流水線，只需6名工人就可以每小時育秧800盤，夠50畝稻田插秧用。以往500畝的稻田要播種兩周，現在10小時就播種完了。”
臺山絲苗米不僅是廣東的米中佳品，更獲得國家地輿標志產品認證。陳奭榮也創辦了個人brand“奭鄉味”。陳奭榮親手種的絲苗米不僅在當地售賣，也通過網店、直播帶貨等情勢銷往粵港澳年夜灣區及全國多個地區。
“我想把廣東絲苗米帶回國。”喬治說。
“盼望絲苗米有一天能進進你的國家，讓你的老鄉也吃上廣東米！”陳奭榮說。
